Solid Gold - Amiga fan based Platformer for the PC!
Unlike most games featured from the Amiga on Indie Retro News, this is a game that didn't have a commercial release and was developed by Night Owl Design who is an Amiga fan. The developer obviously has a good taste for Rick Dangerous as the look and feel of this game is very similar. SOLID GOLD is a Jump'n Run with 8-way soft scrolling. It's was written for the classic Amiga hardware and designed in the style of the early 90s. The game has ten levels spanning four worlds, with different graphics and enemies. Each level's goal is to find an artefact which will lead the way to the next world. This game is pretty easy to get up and running via WinUAE or your Amiga, but the best way for most people is on a PC via the company.pl's single exe files and that's exactly what this version is!
Download and play
This version (2.6) contains high quality filters for your PC and all you have to do is download, run the exe and press F12 in game for extra settings including those filters. The software is based on the original rom file and remastered through an emulator in a single exe. You may get a Virus Warning through low quality virus checkers, it's a false positive!
