It's been a pretty busy week in the Open Source scene, as another game has recently had a big update and that game is none other than OpenMW, based on the very popular RPG, Morrowind. The OpenMW team behind the game have been hard at work at pushing the original game to new heights, from new features such as improved interfaces and journals to Improved graphics by taking advantage of more modern hardware. The team also make sure to fix plenty of bugs, do note though that unlike other Open Source versions you will need the original Morrowind, so make sure to read the change log.
The OpenMW team is proud to announce the release of version 0.31.0! Grab it from our Downloads Pagefor all operating systems. This release includes implementation of many smaller features that have been sorely missing, as well fixes for a ridiculous amount of bugs. Many thanks to our developers for their relentless attention to detail. Some optimization has made it into this release, let us know if you see any increased performance.
Known Issues:
Switching from fullscreen to windowed mode on Windows 7 or 8.1 while using the D3D9 renderer causes a crash
