There has been a lot of impressive features on classic computers lately, such as Dragons Lair Laserdisc on the C64 and ZX81. But today we are going to go one step further and mention id's first person hit of DOOM, which also made an unofficial appearance on the Commodore Vic-20 / Commodore VC-20. Certainly an impressive feat considering DOOM was also ported over to the ZX Spectrum 128+!
According to HighRetroGameLord, this 'Kweepa' port of the classic FPS "DOOM" by id Software runs on a 35kb RAM expansion. It plays mostly like the real DOOM, except for a smaller screen, whereby you can not see your weapon you are carrying and there are no height differences in the levels.
Featuring eight levels, four enemies, five weapons and twenty sound effects!
Grab it here, if you have never seen it before ( I hadn't )
