Platformers and run and gunners aren't the only Amiga games to appear, as we've recently been told that Johnny Acevedo's game of ' Blue Escape ', had been shown off at the Retromania 2017 videogame programming contest and since then has been made available for everyone to download and enjoy. For those of you who love games like Flappy Bird, but would rather play a game with a more Space vibe, then read on!
Usually Flappy Bird style games I tend to avoid, however Blue Escape with music by Dani Hermans and graphics by Arachne isn't half bad. You see this game doesn't contain any birds or pipes, but instead puts you in control of a space ship that has to avoid oncoming enemy ships and sometimes large objects to get from a portal on one side to a planet on the other. And that's pretty much it, so if you like these type of games then enjoy, but if not, stick to a platformer ;)
