What a great way to end the week and more so that it is a warm Sunday evening, as we've just been told that Warlock Entertainment have now released the remake of Trolls and Tribulations; a cult action platformer that was first released in 1984 by Designer/Creative Software on the C64, Apple II and Atari 8-bit as a game inspired by classics such as Mario Bros and Donkey Kong!
As we said before in our previous article, even for its time the C64 version was loved by many, it wasn't the most graphically impressive game on the C64 but the game was so much fun to play and challenged the player to think before they lept, which includes avoiding enemies, finding items and keys to unlock doors. It was also a game with moments of action mixed in with some well designed levels, something the remake does show off very well, except with much better graphics, a new high quality soundtrack, some boss fights and an original ending but keeping to that retro theme.
Features
- New 16bit graphic style
- High quality sound track
- Two additional classical musics
- Two selectable soundtracks (enhanced Omega version and original)
- CRT shader with scanlines and screen curvature effects
- Boss fights and original game ending sequence
- Fully playable on Arcade Cabinet with CRT Monitor
- And much more.........
