More interesting news today and this one comes from our good friend Erik, as he has shown us an Amiga prototype of ' Saboteur '; an incredible action-adventure game created by Clive Townsend and originally published by Durell Software in 1985 for several 8-bit systems. According to Erik in relation to the footage below, this is his attempt to port it by himself to the Amiga, taking graphics and data from the Unity port and porting it to Blitz Basic.
Furthermore if you're hoping for a full version released any time soon, sadly he also goes on to say "I managed to more or less get the graphics, map data and some of the ninja logic across - but only a little way so far as the rest of the game logic. Unfortunately I don't currently have the time to complete the project - I'll be handing it over to another developer to complete". So there you have it, if there's another developer out there willing to take this on, we will be able to play Saboteur on our Amiga's at some point in the near future! :)
