Although it isn't Halloween but it still feels like Silent Hill out there, there's one game you might want to play if you fancy a scare, and that's Stefan Vogt's C64, Plus/4, CPC, ZX Spectrum (+3, ESXDOS, Next), Amiga, Atari ST, DOS and PC game of ' The Curse of Rabenstein '; a new graphical text command based game which has been released thanks to the dedication and hard work of Stefan Vogt, and thanks also going to Puddle Software.
As noted by the description : The Curse of Rabenstein is a new graphic-/text adventure from Stefan Vogt, the author of the acclaimed Hibernated interactive fiction series, as well as a first release from Puddle Soft who are a collective formed by members of Pond with the mission of creating new games for the classic 8-bit and 16-bit home computers of the 80s. As for the game itself however, The Curse of Rabenstein is following the paths of the legendary adventures from Level 9, but it tries to meet modern gaming expectations, so that the most sophisticated genre back from the day transforms into a contemporary homage.
