Fabulous news Amiga fans, as if you've ever played the 1987 multi system game of Bubble Ghost, then you might be interested to know that as of next year 2021, the label Agima will be releasing an Amiga remake of Bubble Ghost called ' New Bubble Story '; a game which in itself is a refactoring of a previous game the coder wrote 25 years ago for the Amiga 1200 called ' Super Bubble Remix '.
Although a very detailed post can be found on the EAB forums, the creator Alain Treesong with graphics artist by Mike Parent, has said because of the original homebrew game of Super Bubble Remix not only requiring an Amiga 1200 as well as the difficulty being too high from level 4 through 40 levels, and the many of the levels were pretty boring. They have decided to change all that with the upcoming game New Bubble Story which is currently at a very early stage of development.
The game due to be released in 2021 will be completely rewritten in order to work on a standard A500, there will be new levels added into the game, new character sprites, old levels will be improved with better gameplay to make it more fun, and finally other changes possibly being made throughout the games development... So yes yet another game to add to an ever growing list of new games for the great Commodore Amiga!
