As we said before, one of the most played games of all time. Bubble Bobble has infuriated and thrilled us in equal measure on our home computers since its release around the year of 1987 to 1989. Its appeal captures all age groups, and the fun is doubled with a brother, sister or friend to play in two player mode. So why is this game getting another mention on IRN? Well glorious news has appeared in our inbox, as today Pink with Fade1 has just released the first BETA of the upcoming Amiga remaster of Bubble Bobble called 'Tiny Bobble".
Even though Bubble Bobble was already released for the Amiga and enjoyed by many. Tiny Bobble for the Amiga 500 OCS+0.5fast with a recommendation of the Amiga 1200 however, will be as close to the Arcade version as possible, with many changes over the original version released in the late 80's. Tiny Bobble will have 50 fps instead of 25, 32 colours instead of 16, 150 items, a bigger screen height of 224 pixels, more sprite animations, a progress screen, an animated extend screen, and finally multiple endings not using any assets or code from the original Amiga version!
