Another day and another great news announcement for the Amiga scene, as we've just been informed by both Saberman and Per Ola, that Electric Black Sheep's upcoming Amiga game of 'Project Horizon' has got a brand new demo for you to try. Yes indeed this game first posted about a little while ago, is an upcoming Amiga game inspired by basic shooting elements such as Commando, with a mix of Chaos Engine and a dab of Alien Breed.
According to the description of the game : Project Horizon is an 8-way scrolling top down shooter sci-fi game for the Commodore AMIGA. The player is a NASA astronaut on the Moon (1977 - alternate timeline) who finds himself in a war situation. For those of you waiting for the full version will be pleased to learn, that not only will it come with a Map-Editor, but the game is being created using standard ABK (gfx or sound bank) used in AMOS.
NOTE:
- The game is under development at the moment! The downloads contains a bugfixed DEMO version of the game. If you find a bug in the game don't hesitate to write in the comment section! :)
- The HDD version contains Music.
- The engine itself does not require 2 Mb chip ram (nor HDD), so if you create a new game (depending on the amount of gfx and sfx you use) it can run even on an OCS machine from a floppy as well.
- The final version will include all the source code, the tools and editor for free.
