When we announced Timeslips Amiga Dungeon Crawler of Black Dawn Rebirth, was changed to a pay what you want game as an epic sci-fi Dungeon Drawler which was previously released commercially through Double Sided Games. We also announced in light of that game, the creators were also working on an expansion pack called Black Dawn Rogue. Well things have changed, as not only is it no longer an expansion pack, but today the game looks completely different and will be a fully feature packed game away from Black Dawn Rebirth.
Although it is still early days for Black Dawn Rogue, already we can see the game looks completely different, because as noted by the team behind this game, it will be a full release with graphics from Tim `Rotator` Gilbert and Mike `From Everything` Richmond, a new engine written from scratch in Blitz, feature full monster hordes, and as said above all ties have been cut from the original Black Dawn Rebirth game. (If you want to try Black Dawn Rebirth or the Deluxe version can do so (here or here)
Black Dawn was originally released in the 90's created using AMOS by Andrew Campbell, as a very deep and dark atmospheric dungeon crawler, that gave you the chance to use hundreds of weapons and items against a multiple of disgusting enemies. And it is this gaming series which is also the hot topic of today, as not only can you download Black Dawn Rebirth as a pay what you want game as mentioned above, but all the original games from the 90's are now available to download (HERE).
