Uberswap - A match 3 variant for the Commodore 64 by EgonOlsen

We've featured a number of great match 3 games on Indie Retro News, games such as Crystals of Amalgam and Vegetables Deluxe to name but a few. But now after searching the very depths of Facebook looking for some other games to play, we've come across a brand new game for the C64 called 'Uberswap'; a freely playable and rather unique title that was created by EgonOlsen written in BASIC with some assembler on top.

As noted by the description in regards to how to play the game : "The goal in Uberswap is to remove all the colored pieces from the playing field by swapping them. If a swap creates one or two figures with more then two pieces of the same colour, these figures will be removed. The game ends when all the pieces have been removed or when you give up by pressing 'x'. You'll obtain one of two bombs when you clear an entire column that's not the rightmost. You can activate a bomb by pressing 'b', which will clear the entire row!"
