Drox Operative - Space Action RPG ( +DEMO )

Very early news update for our viewers and it's a Space Action RPG called Drox operative from Soldak, the game is currently in beta via pre-orders. Although the game does involve alot of battles, ship customization and quests you must also explore, be diplomatic and research new technology.  This isn't a true 4x space strategy game which I personally enjoy but it's more action orientated as you can see by the video

 

In the full version there is a single player and multiplayer option available and the game will be available for both PC and MAC, but no release date has been given. The story is deep in write up but the basics are, you are a Drox Operative from a now extinct race who used to rule the galaxy with an iron fist using these Operatives(basically powerful Starship Captains). The Drox rebelled and fought a civil war against the operatives after they believed they were a threat, but the drox lost the war. Because of this the Operatives trust noone and work for whoever can pay, especially when a critical task is needed to be delt with. See I told you it was a bit deep and that's just the short version ;)
