Twisted Insurrection is a stand alone based on the Tiberian Sun engine, meaning you don't need to own the original Command and Conquer : Tiberian Sun to play this game. The standalone game features completely new units, structures (both new and old) and environments. What's more Twisted Insurrection has an epic in-depth story to pull you in, set in an alternate timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod won the First Tiberian War.

This is a truly epic standalone game/mod as I've played this game countless times this year, the graphical work that was put into the game, the sound effects and the story. Everything is just so well made, that you feel that this should've been released as an addon to the original game. Trust me on this, play this game and you will not be able to put it down. There is nothing more impressive than building your own base and hundreds of units, ready to go into battle with new technology and firepower.
