Retro games do so well on Kickstarter, but it doesn't mean that every retro game succeeds it's goal. So along comes Mike Pinto to try and push his game Bik, a pixel-art adventure to a successful Kickstarter launch. Bik pays tribute to classic point and click adventure games, especially those of Sierra, note the little man and eye symbol. There is a little tweak to this genre though, as the developer has added in the ability to pilot a 3D space ship.
Bik will have an enthralling soundtrack with a full story-driven experience and yes, puzzles are included as well. There will also be moments of action, as you not only get abducted by aliens but by having a gun handy, you can also shoot them, possibly in revenge! There's even more to this game going by the features below, and with only a $12,000 Kickstarter goal, that seems pretty fair to me.
FEATURES :
- Befriend alien races and join them on adventures in space!
- Join a mercenary crew aboard a space freighter!
- Fly a spaceship through an asteroid field!
- And much more!
