Onebitpunch have just released the latest trailer to their awesome looking combat-oriented 2d platformer, Shadowcrypt and damn does it look good! If you're a fan of Zelda II or Castlevania then this game fits that style perfectly and I for one am looking forward to it's release. Shadowcrypt focuses on tactical sword and shield combat as you explore long-abandoned catacombs while fighting the many enemies contained within. Take the role of a hero, pick up random loot drops, fight the evil Necromancer and defeat his undead warriors through 70 rooms and torch-lit corridors. Keep this one bookmarked gamers, it could be a good'n!

I'm not sure I like the idea of a human-sized skeleton that takes more than ten hits to kill. One of the things I enjoy most about the 2D Castlevania games is that most enemies have very little HP. The pace always has you moving forward. Everything else about this game looks great, though.
