Tomb of Tyrants - Dungeon defence puzzler gets a Kickstarter

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far and what better way to spend it than looking at the latest Kickstarter campaigns. And sure enough here comes Tomb of Tyrants, which is a dungeon defence puzzler from Jake Huhman. You take the role of an evil tyrant who's aim is to build a dungeon or as the developer states (restoring a historic site) while trying to stop the goody heroes from getting in the way of your plans.

Unlike other pixelated dungeon games this one has a unique design feature in the fact that the entire game is based around matching resource tiles and dungeon development. With each matched tile gives you certain specifics such as creating additional floors, traps and monsters while still dealing with the threat from above. The more adventurers that die, the more loot pile that gets added to your tiles. It sounds so much fun, but it will be interesting to see if you spend more time looking at the tiles than what's going on above.

Tomb of Tyrants will be available for PC and Ouya with a $6,000 goal through Kickstarter. If you wish to know more about the game and what other features it contains then check out the Kickstarter page
