The C64 is seriously lagging behind in the gaming department lately, as another ZX Spectrum game "ShapShifter" has just appeared, and unlike the previous game this isn't an arcade title, but a puzzler! With the screenshot above you'll be forgiven in thinking it's Tetris but unlike Tetris you are given a set amount of puzzled pieces to fill the grid, when each grid is filled correctly it's onto the next puzzle. The developer Mr Millside of Cronosoft promises 100 puzzles to complete in the full game with easy ones to start, becoming much more difficult as the game progresses.
However until the full version is released thus summer, the ZX Spectrum demo tap file is available for download from here: http://1drv.ms/UIuGYo and so far the player views from the demo are pretty positive!
