Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict - Feature film growing up with the ZX Spectrum

I'm not usually one for featuring books or films, but when it comes to anything gaming retro, especially of the 8-bit era I'll most likely give it the thumbs up. Well just recently I was contacted by Andy Remic who is a Novelist and ZX Spetrum fanatic with 16 published books, about his new feature film (110+mins) that's currently running an Indiegogo campaign which is based on Andy Remic’s memoirs growing up with the ZX.

Although the video really doesn't give that much away (it needs more in the way of ZX Spectrum flavour), Andy Remic does mention that the film will be of a cinematic style, have interviews with major industry figures and basically be a nostalgic journey for all of those that experienced this great little machine.

Andy is no stranger to the world of the ZX as he has not only just played games, but he also wrote them. With his games reviewed in Crash Magazine, and appeared on the cover cassettes of Crash, Your Sinclair and Sinclair User.

The Indiegogo campaign is currently at £105 RAISED OF a £10,000 GOAL so there is still a long way to go, but I think if he has a more of an informative Indiegogo campaign he could be onto a winner. I for one can't wait to see the film, but then again I'm very retro game biased.
