Game Oldies : Play retro games online through an awesome website!
I was just trawling the web looking for something different and came across a site that probably has one of the best retro online playable set ups I've come across. Now I know we have other greats such as JavaCPC Games and VirtualNES but when it comes to Game Oldies, the amount of content and systems playable in a browser just blew me away.
Systems such as the Amiga, Nintendo, Megadrive, SegaCD, NEC PC Engine, Neo-Geo, Atari LYNX and many more are all playable. But the gaming list isn't exactly small either, they are in the hundreds from incredible games like Aero Fighters 2 on the Neo-Geo to Dungeon Master on the Amiga. What's more the creators behind the site have even listed the games with artwork, logo's, title screenshots and in game screenshots, just WOW!
The games all run super smoothly with the added ability of full screen and load, save states which is pretty impressive considering the emulators are written using Adobe Flash technology.
So if you are bored at work or stuck at home, check out the website and be amazed by all this retro goodness!
