As a huge fan of Lands of Lore, Eye of the Beholder and Dungeon Master, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Legend of Grimrock 2, developed by Almost Human Ltd is now officially in Beta. A sequel to the incredible Legend of Grimrock, which sold well over 600,000 copies world wide, will have all new game features, enemies, new levels and outdoor levels which was an awesome experience in both Eye of the Beholder 2 and Lands of Lore.
For those of you who love Dungeon Crawling by battling creatures and solving puzzles in a grid based movement system. Legend of Grimrock 2 will possibly be 25% longer than Grimrock and should hopefully be every bit as good as LOG 1; retaining that modern look in an old retro charm. Regarding the beta, it will be closed and only given access to a select group of people as to insure a better more accurate feedback.
Another interesting bit of news for those that want to go beyond PC gaming, as Almost Human Ltd have announced that they are working on an iOS port of the game, with a release date announcement due soon.
