UMMO - Homebrew Shoot 'em up for the Amstrad PCW
It's not very often we get games developed for the Amstrad PCW, especially as it's one of our first features on IRN, but UMMO developed by Floppy Software is the latest Shoot 'em up for that very system. There isn't much of a story to go with UMMO, but the general theme of the game is to shoot the aliens waves, gain a good score and complete the levels.
According to Floppy Software the game was developed using MESCC (Mike's Enhanced Small C Compiler - his version of Small C) and some libraries of SAMARUC, with his GUI for the Amstrad PCW.
So if you have an Amstrad PCW, check the game out, it looks pretty fun!
