Seth of 8-Bit Weapon and his 8-Bit Bunch have rolled out their new website for the Apple ][ RPG "Lawless Legends" that is currently in development. The header title is appropriately named...The Lawless Legends RPG Corral!
Previously the URL http://www.lawlesslegends.com/ had re-directed to their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/LawlessLegends
Now their new site features nifty retro Mac style icons and a plethora of awesome Lawless Legends screenshots and other info on the game and the development team. Additionally, this summers KFest demo disk and the Outlaw editor can both be downloaded from the Lawless Legends GitHub https://github.com/badvision/lawless-legends Be sure to check out Open Apple's Apple ][ Podcast featuring the development team of Lawless Legends at the following link.

Movement in Lawless Legends is not the usual 90 degree turns that you might expect from an Apple ][ game but rather a more free flowing series of steps. Here is an animated gif where I stroll about the outdoors.
The Barkeep has a bottle of whiskey at the ready, (on the house of course ;o) for when you decide to stroll on down to Fort Miller and put some Law into this Lawless Legend of a town.

Good review & updates. Really like the older style graphics.
ReplyDeleteFree flowing movement can be nice, but still prefer the 90 deg hard turns on a simple square grid-map ; )
Still, the gif showing movement looks cool.
