I love a good adventure and who doesn't? So when Studio Spektar, a Croatian company contacted us about their latest adventure game "Viktor" we just had to take a look. Currently going through a Kickstarter campaign with a demo provided, Viktor is a steampunk adventure where you star as a wild boar on a quest to become the Emporer of Austria-Hungary.
As is the case with most adventure titles you will meet many characters each with their own personality that really add to the game experience; an added bonus will be characters based on real people such as the inventor Tesla or the dog Emporer Franz Joseph. Although what sets this adventure apart from the others is the vast amount of objects and people that can be interacted with, from being looked at, talked to, kicked or taken. You can even play mini-games such as squashing bugs! Yet as with any adventure game, Viktor will also feature puzzles which according to the developers, will be solvable in a simple and logical way.
I for one am certainly interested with what is on offer, the graphics are of a cartoon style which really suit this steam punk adventure, and I also like the added addition of mini games and being able to interactive with the world, which is usually a limitation in other adventure games.
With 25 days to go and only $611 pledged of a $10,000 goal, there's still a good chance this Kickstarter may succeed!
