Factotum for the Wii U is the latest work of the very prolific Thomas Hopper of TACS Games. This year he's already released the game Console Saga which we covered summer 2014. You can view the article here. From what I've heard Console Saga has won game of the year for Playstation Mobile. Certainly well deserved. It's quite amazing how polished and well done the game was in such a short time with only one developer.
Without further ado, here is the trailer to the next game Factotum :
The game is not out so I've not yet had a chance to play it. It seems to be focusing on two robots as a sci-fi puzzler who must cooperate to traverse various levels. You swap between either robot and control one at a time. The game appears to take place over a continuous metroidvania-eque world judging from the next screenshot.
The art style stands out and is quite consistent with a overall green tone complemented by some VHS-like post processing effects. I'm looking forward to this game coming out in the near future. We'll make sure to post when the game is released.
