For anyone that follows the retro events scene in the UK, it seems that all the juicy events take place either in the North (Manchester, Blackpool) or in London. Well following the pattern of the successful Lincolnshire Amiga Group meets, Indie Retro News writer Alistair has decided to put on a meeting in the South Hampshire area (UK) in Southampton - South Coast Amiga Rendezvous.
This event is made possible by the wonderful folk at So Make It, the Southampton Makerspace/Hackerspace which has just recently gone through a premises shift into a new larger 1200sq ft space. Perfect for hosting events like a retro computer meetup ;)
The 'space plays host to 3D printing, traditional wood and metal workshop, electronic engineering, prop making and costuming and more. So if you are local to the UK south coast, and want to meet other Amiga owners, or show off your hardware (or even find out what's wrong with it) then come along to S.C.A.R. on Wednesday, March 25th.
