GODS game classic gets an overhauled 1080p Intro remake


Would you like to see a HD intro remake of the classic Amiga game 'GODS', in glorious 1080p detail? Yes well good, because here it is! The original 1991 Bitmap Brothers intro in HD detail, using 2D digital art by FRULILI, music remix by DAXX - daxx step 2 dub and game play clips by AL82.

    Yuck, a dub step version of the classic house Gods tune, sounds terrible. A mass of messy buzzing and drum rolls imposed over the original tune does not sound good! It's the only thing the devs did not need to touch. This does not bode well.

    I really enjoyed it - Daxx has done some great remixes and the artwork is great, especially the main character standing there with the axe. The gameplay footage was great too, naturally... ;)

    Yeah, Daxx has done 3 different remixes of Gods Intro theme. Personally both the other 2 are better, one of which is much closer to the original theme.

    The music started promising but when the dub step kicked in = yuck. Seems this is those kind of remakes where you cut a new hairstyle for Mona Lisa and add some more saturation for the paintjob -> more people will surely love it.

    My view exactly - as I was listening to it I was thinking "there are better remixes out there", and was then surprised to see this was done by Daxx whom I hold in great regard!

    Ahh this woke me up nicely! When the line "a man can ask for one favor" appeared it really gave me goose bumps :D

    Ok so I heard there is no actual game coming and guys just made an intro remake. Change to another Daxx remix and im fine with it ;)

    Same here, Daxx is a god amongst the remixers! Perhaps he got a kick up the bum for some dub step ;) Not my sort of music as I'm an orchestral kinda guy, see Hero Quest Piano mix
