Great news for those of you that have enjoyed classic games such as Ghosts n Goblins, Bomb Jack, Baluba-louk no Densetsu or Psychic 5 as Radin Retro Games has contacted us to tell you of a brand new retro inspired game that they have released titled 'Eternum'. Developed with the look and feel of the 80's arcade cabinet games with 25 levels, final bosses and secret bonuses, Eternum is a tribute to the Ghosts' n Goblins series or as they call it a "sequel".
The story revolves around (Sir Arthur) who has gotten too old and has lost everything he had and loved, thus he departs for an evil subterranean kingdom in search of treasures, adventures and the most important: five magical orbs that together provide... the Eternal youth!
It's a tall order to claim to be a tribute sequel to Ghosts n Goblins especially considering how amazing that game was for it's time. Yet Eternum is just fantastic, the colours, the game play, the retro inspired detail, the scan lines, the music, the sound effects, it's all just retrotastically awesome. I can't find a fault in the game at all, and considering it it's also free I can say that this is our most recommended game of the week, if not the month!
