Twisted Insurrection - HQ Command and Conquer conversion reaches 0.39.1!

It has been nearly three years since we last mentioned one of the greatest Command and Conqueror conversions ever to be released and today saw the announcement of ' Twisted Insurrection 0.39.1', a Standalone RTS total conversion update based on the Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun engine. The original release featured completely new units, structures (both new and old), new environments, and a new story with further changes and additions added to the latest update.

For anyone that remembers the original game, Twisted Insurrection has an epic in-depth new story to pull you in, set in an alternate timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod won the First Tiberian War. This is a truly epic standalone game/mod of which I have played countless times this year. The graphical work that was put into the standalone game, such as the sound effects and story is just so well made, you almost feel that this should've been released as an addon to the original game.

Trust me on this, play the standalone release and you will not be able to put it down. There is nothing more impressive than building your own base and hundreds of units, ready to go into battle with new technology and firepower.
