A rather surprising update today as this Kickstarter was so close to be doomed to failure but with just hours to go and one big push by the community, 'Tower 57'; the retro inspired shooter in an Amiga style, is not only a Kickstarter success but has also gathered enough thumbs up to be Steam Greenlit. To say we are overjoyed is an understatement as ever since our first feature and the big Kickstarter post, we've been eagerly awaiting to play Benitosub and artist Cyangmou's retro inspired shooter that has oodles of Chaos Engine charm.
But before you rush off and think the Kickstarter for PC, MAC and Linux is actually complete even though it's reached it's successful goal. It still has 54 hours to go and if they hit €46,000, which is only about €328 or so short, this game will also be released for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS created by Daniel 'Daytona675x' Müßener, (who is known for coding the NG-Amiga Battle Squadron remake-ports, the Cherry-Darling games and who's currently also working on Warp3D). [Update Below]
Right from the start we have been in full support of Tower 57, it doesn't just have the charm and kick ass action of the Amiga classics but everything about the game looks bloody lovely!
Welcome home Chaos Engine, we've missed you!
