Aaron White & Indie Retro News - Dizzy Album Amiga Special!
As many of you know when it comes to Dizzy, that little white egg has a special place on this site. We have featured art work, collections and fan based games, but what we have for you today isn't just Dizzy, but a collaboration of Aaron White and ourselves Indie Retro News for the latest Dizzy C64 to Amiga chiptune album! That's right retro gamers after a nice little chat, Aaron White has converted some of the C64 Dizzy beats over to the Amiga including Bubble Dizzy, Dizzy Down the Rapids, Fast Food Dizzy, Magic Land Dizzy and Treasure Island Dizzy.
But there is a slight downside and it's a very rare occurrence from Aaron, as this album doesn't have all the Dizzy soundtracks converted. This was because however much effort he put into it, they just didn't sound right on the Amiga and had to be put aside. This is a huge shame but as he said the C64 has some weird and wonderful SID notes which are hard to reproduce
As for what we have, once again I'm happy with what Aaron White has done. All of the tracks he could work with sound fantastic. And it's great to hear what such an old 80's 8bit tune would sound like on the glandular Amiga. As such I tip my hat to you good sir!
