Rough and Tumble - Free action platformer with Gameboy inspirations
Just recently we featured gumustdo's rather enjoyable Gameboy styled shoot em up of ' The Hunt for the Red Cthulhu '; which was developed during the game Gameboy Jam 4. But that wasn't the only game we liked as another game we found enjoyable was Virtually Competent's action platformer ' Rough and Tumble ', which is completely free to play online. Developed with only level so far, and more to come in the future, you are the bounty hunter robot Tumbleweed and are out to stop the evil Roughhouse Gang, during the time of the gun ho Wild West.
For such a short game with only one level, Rough and Tumble is a very enjoyable release and I'd recommend that you play it at least once to experience what it has to offer. You'll come across NPC's and detailed buildings all the while blasting sci-fi styled robots and listening to a fantastic old school tune that would look and sound great on a real Gameboy. Furthermore the game is free to play online, so if you have Chrome, Firefox or IE you're all set!
