Just a month after talking about Oliver Orosz's SEUCK top scrolling shooter of ' JANI ', we have just been given the heads up by Aaron White of RGDS Podcast, that the same developer has released the sequel ' JANI 2 ' for the C64. Although very similar in game play it has completely different landscape colour schemes and enemy designs.
Now if you have played the original SEUCK game you'll notice that the top down view from the above screenshot is very similar to its prequel albeit PINK, instead of the lush vegetation greens which featured heavily previously. Other such differences include enemy designs, money to be picked up, rolling log traps and what really stood out was the very well designed villages and cliff based landscapes. As for everything else it is the same, as you still play as a guy walking about killing enemies while avoiding being shot at yourself or hit by deadly traps.
Overall a decent enough game that's certainly worth a download, it's just a shame the game doesn't feature any in game music.
