A bit of bad news today as we've been informed by Blazing Griffin that their murder mystery game ' The Ship : Remasted ' has been delayed based on feedback from the community. But not to worry as it has only been delayed for a week so it will now appear on 22nd Feb 2016. For those of you who haven't heard of this game, ' The Ship : Remasted ' is a remastered edition of the great 2006 game ' The Ship : Murder Party ' in which you play on a 1920's cruise ship and must murder someone without anybody watching while also avoiding being harmed yourself by other hunters.
According to the developers the reason for the delay was because there were a number of concerns from the community about the impact of a LAN-only launch. As such they've addressed some of the concerns HERE, but the main points about the delay are listed below.
LAN gameplay is functional.
· Relay servers, using the Unity Could Service are functional although limited by bandwidth meaning games would be capped at 4 players.
· We are working with Unity to resolve these issues as quickly as we can.
· We’re rolling out access to relay servers to our test group today.
· Work on Dedicated Server support is ongoing and likely to be available for public testing over the next few weeks.
