Way back in 1984, ED Hobbs with publishing rights by Broderbund, released the rather genius game of ' The Castles of Dr. Creep 'for the C64. It was a two player platformer with a heavy emphasis on puzzles and required the player(s) to escape from each castle through a vast network of interconnected rooms. This was made more difficult by contraptions and traps such as Conveyor belts, force fields, laser guns, mummies and Frankenstein monsters. A good game indeed, but today I've learnt that this game has appeared for PC, Mac, Linux and is currently going through a Steam Greenlight campaign.
Now although it's great to see all these classic games appearing on Steam, more so C64 ones. I am unsure as to whether this is a full C64 to PC,MAC and Linux conversion or it's a C64 game running through an emulator. Either way, if you fancy playing a C64 game via Steam, then give them your Steam Greenlight thumbs up!
