Hurlements - A very old UBIsoft title is now a full PC remake

Way back in the late 80's that well known company of Ubisoft, released the graphical adventure game ' Hurlements ' for the Amstrad CPC 6128 as well as DOS based systems. It was to my knowledge a French game that few have heard of, but it was very similar to their other adventure game ' Zombi '. Which featured multiple areas, multiple characters, a first person viewpoint, command based icons and a task to get away to avoid being eaten. I'd love to say to you how awesome the game was, but this is the first time I've heard of the game, but now thanks to a developer by the name of Arnaud, he has ported the original retro title over to the PC as a full remake!

According to multiple sources, Hurlements is a horror adventure game designed by Yannick Cadin, in which you play as either Kane a small-time thief and his girlfriend Lorry, on a quest to find a stash of gold, mentioned to him by an old cell mate that had died. The problem is, your car breaks down, and now you must find the gold, repair your vehicle and get out of there before you are mauled by werewolves. ( So basically this time it's werewolves, not Zombies! )

In terms of how much effort has gone into this remake it is rather impressive! From every icon and character design, to the UI and area graphics have been completely overhauled. What is also most helpful by the developer is the fact that the game can be played in English and is available as a free PC download. Now if you don't remember the original game, check out the screenshots below, and see just how much has changed from its original Amstrad roots.
