Only just yesterday we gave you the heads up for Radastan's ZX Spectrum game ' Princess Flame Adventure Time ', which was developed for the #BitbitJam3. Well another entry is worthy of a mention and again for the Jam, is ByteRealms classy Amstrad CPC beat em up ' Kung Fu Guns ', developed using the CPCtelera software! In this game you play as Sheriff Melissa Chase, also known as the Red Hot Princess, who must stop a gang of Chinese bandits with Kung Fu skills from terrorising the town.
It is a very rare thing to see a beat em up developed for an old 8bit system as a homebrew, more so that the developers behind the game said the game was developed as a challenge, that they couldn't create a beat em up over just one weekend. Well with barely 40 discontinued hours, it looks as if they have almost achieved that goal, almost in the fact that even though it's a playable beat em up, it is still very basic with just 2 levels. But don't let that get you down, as the developers have said it runs smoothly at 25hz with music, and they hope to continue development into a full idea! - NICE
As for downloading the game, you can grab it via the Gamejolt link (HERE), and if you want to play via an emulator or a real Amstrad, make sure to click *More* then select your file of choice.
