The Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh - 1996 ZX Spectrum Dizzy style game is now in full English
It's not very often you get an English translation of a ZX Spectrum game, but today that is exactly what has happened with the Russian 1996 game ' the Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh ' by Softland Software'96. Regarded by many as a great Dizzy adventure style game, Winnie The Poo is inspired by the novels "Winnie-the-Pooh and All, All, All" and "The House at Pooh Corner" and has been completely translated into English by TomCaT'16.
I was able to play this game for a little bit today before writing the next article and in my opinion it's a rather nice game. As a Dizzy fan myself, I can certainly see the likeness as just as in Dizzy you need to traverse each scene, talk to characters, pick up items and solve puzzles. But what I really like about the game other than the scenic designs and lush woodlands, is the graphical UI and the music which plays throughout. It really is a game worth playing all the way through, and thankfully now it's in English you can play it too!
