The Mojon Twins are back in the gaming news this week as once again after all the games they have released previously, they've gone and released another as ' Lala The Magical ' on the NES. In this platforming homebrew, you plays as the bored Lala who is on a personal quest to find a Magical Wand that has the power strong enough to cope with the perils hidden inside the Sky Palace for three powerful Gems. But be warned this wont be easy as the Magical Wand is locked away and it's down to you to get the key, find some magical potions and travel to the Sky Palace!
When it comes to games released by The Mojon Twins you just know it is going to be a good game and Lala The Magical is no exception. The graphics are of very high quality with a real depth to many of the platforms and backgrounds, the enemies have great animation with different movement patterns, and the sound and music is of high grade. The only downside is the difficulty level which at times can be a little frustrating due how fast your character jumps, requiring pin point precision to reach some ledges.
Overall Lala The Magical is a great game that you really should play at least once either via an Emulator or a real NES.
