As we said before, in 1987 Sega released the great side-scrolling platform game ' Alex Kidd ' for the Sega Master System console. Although it was first released in Japan in 1986 but internationally in 1987, it was one of the most well known games as it was also built into most Master System II's. In actual fact it was so well loved that a fan by the name of Yeti Bomar (aka Watain) is still working on his latest rom hack 'Alex Kidd 2 - Curse In Miracle World', which is now at demo version 3.
Demo 2 Footage
When Alex Kidd 2 - Curse In Miracle World was unofficially released as a demo during the early part of this year, it was already something special at only 5 levels with great level design and improved colours and graphics over the original game. But now as version 3 it is even better, as Yeti Bomar has mentioned the game now has a whopping 16 levels with even more landscape themes to play through and even more crazy level designs!
So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the download page and try it out! Although do be aware a patching program such as beat or Floating IPS may be needed to add the hack/patch to the main Alex Kidd ROM, which isn't available here.
