It's only Monday but we begin the week with a fantastic start as one of the most anticipated C64 games of the summer, titled as 'The Sky is Falling', has finally been released through Psytronik Software. A debut C64 release from Stuart Collier, is based on an original game by Ovine by Design, assisted with graphics by Trevor Storey and funky soundtracks from Richard Bayliss. It may have been teased some time ago, but boy has this game come along way as it is looks seriously awesome!
Available as a digital download and featuring lots of caves, power ups, animated cut scenes, a bonus animated demo and catchy soundtracks, you play as an explorer named as the Orangeman who is having a terrible day. Not only is the cave roof collapsing above his head, which obviously isn't the safest place to explore, but he's being chased by a massive boulder and no whip to keep him company. But hey, at least he has his trusty tools to smash the stalactites that may well cause him to have an even worse day than he is currently having!
What a great day to be a C64 gamer, so head on over to the links below and check it out, I'm sure you'll have a blast playing The Sky is Falling!
