This really is great news, especially as this isn't a Bum Fun release ( I'm not a fan ), but Psytronik Software has recently announced to celebrate 35 years since the launch of the ZX Spectrum, they are proud to present their very first published release for the ZX Spectrum as Robot 1 in THE SHIP OF DOOM. This game which we mentioned recently as a free to download and play game, was developed by Mat Recardo with outstanding music by Sergey Tosov and put you in control of Robot 1 who has been left behind by the crew on a space ship that is on a collision course with the sun.
Unlike the free version that can still be digitally downloaded, this is a full commercial cassette release with a brilliant front cover, which is the typical high standard of the games released through Psytronik Software. Mat Recardo who also created the game, also produced the beautiful rendered artwork for various Psytronik releases in the past including Platman Worlds & Escape from Arth etc. So head on over to the website, give it a purchase, and enjoy "Robot 1 in The Ship of Doom" as it's oh so entertaining and will keep you coming back for more, trying to beat that previous time and score!
