Maybe the moon is right or someone has found all the lucky charms, as this month has been great for the retro gaming community with some real special treats that have appeared in our news feeds. One such game which was waved in our face today, was Warlock Entertainment's 2017 remake of Trolls and Tribulations; a game that was first released in 1984 by Designer/Creative Software on the C64, Apple II and Atari 8-bit.
Even for its time the C64 version was loved by many, it wasn't the most graphically impressive game on the C64 but the game was so much fun to play and really challenged the player to think before they lept, which includes avoiding enemies, finding items and keys to unlock doors. Furthermore it was a game with moments of action mixed in with some well designed levels, something the remake seems to show off very well, except with much better graphics, but keeping to that retro theme.
Also to note in regards to the remake which looks really appealing, it is being coded by Andrea Salvatore, and Graphics/SFX by Massimiliano De Ruvo, with a Trolls and Tribulations Omega demo download due for Windows soon.... Watch this space!
