Terrapins - An excellent ZX Spectrum remake of an 80's coin op!

The last news of today and a damn good one at that, is this weeks release of the Arcade remake of ' Terrapins ', which was an original Arcade game in 1981 now colourfully playable on the ZX Spectrum by Highrise and developed using Arcade Game Designer. This lovely commercial game with a demo available as well, puts you in control as Mama Terrapin, who has to save her babies from the evil bugs that are scattered throughout a large eight storey building!

If you want to play one of the highlights of the homebrew scene on the ZX Spectrum then Terrapins by Allan Turvey, David Saphier and Craig Howard is one not to be missed. You'll be traversing the maze like areas, saving your babies and bringing them home, while also avoiding and sometimes blowing up the creatures with mighty bombs. If however you can save them all it's on to the next level, just make sure before you do that to spend some quality time resting away from any enemies and listen to the sweet soundtrack, it's just lovely!
