Snake originally came about in the mid 1970's and over the years has seen many variations on different systems. The main Goal? To gain a high enough score while controlling a snake like creature, moving around a square screen area collecting food while also avoiding your tail or other obstacles as it grows ever larger with each bite. However each variation of the Snake theme has generally been the same until now as ArtificeMachine has released their commercially unique game of Vermiworm; an enhanced take on the classic Snake game.
Now as you can see straight away the game is visually advanced from that classic Snake game as gone is that top down retro style and replaced with a very appealing graphical isometric world. There's lush island landscapes surrounded by animated oceans, growing plants, walls and even ruins scattered about each of the many islands. Other features include a nice soundtrack, 4 audio/visual themes, controller support, 40 diverse levels and lots of awesome power ups such as acid trails and speed ups!
