Abandon Ship - Sail the seas exploring a diverse, procedurally generated world!

Throughout the years ever since I played the Amiga game Pirates! I've had this longing for a damn good Pirates game, and to be honest I've yet to play one as good, even though I was a huge fan of Port Royale and Tortuga. But Abandon Ship by Fireblade Software which is due to be released this year, COULD be the one to set that high bar. You see Abandon Ship isn't just your average looking ship sailing, combat game, but you command a ship and her crew, exploring a diverse, procedurally generated world, taking on quests and dealing with random events framed in an Art Style inspired by classic Naval Oil Paintings!

Not just that but you will end up fighting other ships in combat as well as deadly sea creatures, all set in a fantasy setting. But worry not, if you do end up failing and your ship lost to the sea, as long as your Captain doesn't end up taken by the sharks, you may end up escaping to a Lifeboat and your story will once again continue in this latest game Abandon Ship!
