Owners and original players of the 1986 BBC Master will be pleased with this news to start the week, as we've been told by Andy that the hit classic Prince of Persia is being ported over to the BBC Master from the Apple II by Kieranhj. This game was first released by Brøderbund in the late 80's and appeared on a multitude of systems such as the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, MS-DOS, Master System, Mega Drive and yes even the Apple II.
Prince of Persia was a true brilliance for its time and still worth playing today, it featured many platforming levels and high danger which was usually met with falling floors, sword wielding enemies, crashing grates and at worst deadly spikes. It's just a shame it never appeared on the BBC Master and it's why Kieranhj has declared his intentions to port the game over, with a recent first level early release including all secret areas!
