ScummVM - The best way to play Adventure classics is now available for the Nintendo Switch!

If you have a great collection of DOS or Windows based classic point and click adventure games such as the incredible Simon the Sorcerer or even The Secret of Monkey Island, then the latest port of ScummVM for the Nintendo Switch is sure to excite even the greatest of Adventurers. This emulation software is a very special program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games with extra added nifty features, provided you already have the main files.

Thankfully this isn't an April Fool's, as it was down to the hardwork of CPasJuste that this port to the Nintendo Switch was possible, although a switch running version 3.0 firmware through hb launcher is still needed. As for the information regarding this port, it runs at a decent frame rate, runs at 2x full screen, has no sfx in some scumm engine games, issues in The Secret of Monkey Island CD version, and the mp3 decoder doesn't seem to work. But at least this is the very first proper version and development is still ongoing with more fixes to the Scumm engine SFX and perhaps the Mp3 decoding as well.
