There's only a few days left to back the final part of Brian Bagnall's trilogy of books covering the rise and fall of Commodore with Commodore: The Final years. CBM was riding high with the success of the Amiga yet in just a few years they went from top dog to bankrupt, and this book aims to chart the events that brought the company down.
Brian's previous books covered the rise in Commodore: A Company on the Edge in 2010 and Commodore: The Amiga Years which shipped at the end of last year after smashing its funding target. Indeed, The Final Years is steaming through the stretch goals with CA$73K already raised.
The book will be covering the projects that were in development and just released just prior to the death of the company, with a particular focus on the the "holy grail" of commodore collectors, the C65 - a true update to the C64 that was to embellish it with near Amiga quality graphics in the all new VIC-III chip and built in disk drive.
So it's your last chance to get in on the ground floor and get some sweet sweet stretch goal perks and swag.
