From Amiga games, to a modern Uridium and even a great MSX port is the order of the week, so how could we improve upon that? Well how about playing Jaime Grilo's brand new ZX Spectrum game called ' QUAHAPPY ', which isn't a puzzle game, nor is it a platformer, but a top down room exploring creepy title with lots of moving heads, creepy music and even a coin or two!
In this game you play as the character called Dauntless Andy, a character who is always smiling and accepts dangerous challenges. The problem with this one however is after accepting the challenge to search the strange Quahappy Manor and collect all the coins, the door has closed behind him forcing him to search for the key to get out. Now if only things were that simple, the Manor is full of other creepy faces that unlike most games with a drop in health, one touch of these blighters and it's a life lost!
Certainly a game full of surprises and more so with the game pulling you in with the well designed rooms, interesting animations and that fantastic soundtrack which plays throughout.
